What design style do you use when decorating for clients? Whatever you want. I love decorating and can design a room around your style.

But I don't know my design style. That's the problem. Don't worry. I have a handy decorating style questionnaire that will help you find your design style. And it will help me with the decorating plan.

Who sets the remodel budget? You do. You let me know what your budget is for remodeling and I pick items accordingly. We will discuss the budget from the beginning so there won't be any unexpected costs. And it doesn't matter the size of your budget, we can develop a decorating plan for any budget.

Why are your decorating services better than the free design I can get at my furniture store? To put it bluntly, their services aren't free. Yes the consultation is free; however, all of the items are from their store so you will buy from them. They work for commission and are looking out for their pocket books, not yours. Our decorating services feature items from a wide array of stores, saving you money and expanding the choices.

I want to use some of my existing furniture in the new design. Can you incorporate them into the plan? Of course! I don't want you to buy all new furniture if you don't want to. Just provide the measurements and pictures of the pieces you want to keep and I will do my best to incorporate them.

I don't need an entire decorating plan, just help picking out paint and tile colors. Not a problem. We love to help with design dilemmas and offer thrifty solutions and advice. We do charge a flat hourly consultation fee. If we reach a decision in less than an hour, you will still be charged the hourly rate - so use up the hour asking other design questions.

I really want to see your design plan in my room but don't have the money for a full package. What are the options? There are a few options available. You can purchase a Room Decor Photo which is a picture of your room with the design plan on it. Or you can go for the Mood Board with Shopping List which will show all of the design items along with a list of the items with prices and where to purchase.

I am not a DIYer and don't have any skills. Can you still help? Of course we can. We will find out how much remodel DIY you want to do and cater our plan accordingly.

When do you schedule consultations? Any time that works for both of us. And we can do virtual consultations if you are not located near Lavish. Just provide us with plenty of photographs and measurements and we can develop the decorating plan virtually.

How long do I have to wait to receive my decorating package? Usually about 2 weeks. However, if it is a detailed plan or if the consultation is virtual, it could take longer. We will keep you updated with email communication.
